Depending on how you use LifeSupport, we may collect information you provide when creating an account, setting up your profile, creating groups, inviting people, or using features within the service.

This may include information such as your name, email address, profile information, group information, and information you choose to share through the service.

We use information to provide and operate LifeSupport, authenticate your account, maintain your groups and connections, provide requested features, communicate with you, and improve the service.

LifeSupport includes features that allow you to share information with people you invite or connect with. Please consider who will be able to access information before sharing it.

You control the people and groups with whom you choose to share information through the features available in the service.

If you use an emergency-related feature, information you provide may be shared with the contacts or recipients you selected for that feature so that they can respond to the situation.

LifeSupport does not guarantee that an emergency notification will be delivered, received, or acted upon. For immediate emergencies, use the appropriate emergency services in your location.

We may collect information necessary to maintain account security, operate the service, diagnose technical problems, prevent abuse, and understand how the service is used.

LifeSupport may use cookies or similar technologies that are necessary to keep you signed in, maintain security, remember preferences, and operate the service.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

No internet-based service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong password and protect your account credentials.

We may share information when necessary to provide the service, when you choose to share it with other users, when required by applicable law, or when necessary to protect the security and integrity of LifeSupport and its users.

If you connect Google Calendar, LifeSupport asks Google for read-only access to your list of calendars and their events.

We only bring in the holiday calendars you subscribe to in Google Calendar. If you are a group admin and connect a shared calendar to your group, we bring in that calendar's events too. Your main calendar and other personal schedules are never imported.

We never create, change, or delete anything in your Google Calendar.

We keep a copy of these events to show them on your calendar and to send you reminders. Events from a group's calendar can be seen by everyone in that group. The key Google gives us to read your calendars is stored encrypted.

Ora, our assistant, can read the events on your calendar, including these, to answer your own questions. To do that, they are sent to our AI provider, OpenAI. They are not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models.

You can disconnect at any time in Settings → Calendars. The copied events leave LifeSupport, and we stop using your Google access. Deleting your account does the same when the account is fully removed, about 30 days later.

LifeSupport's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Depending on the features available to you, you may be able to review, update, or delete information associated with your account. You may also stop using the service at any time.

We may update this Privacy Policy as LifeSupport changes or as our privacy practices develop. When we make changes, we will update the date shown at the top of this page.
